The enemy knows that there’s no shame in the Stronghold of God’s salvation. So, the enemy is going to work to keep you in the shame that you don’t have your breakthrough in your victory.
The reason the enemy is working so hard is not necessarily to keep you from victory and breakthrough, but to keep you from the hiding place. He knows that is where there is a Stronghold.
Do you think the enemy has the power to take down the fortress of God? No way. Who’s going to thwart the plan of God? Nobody.
‘I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy.’ – Psalms 30:5 TPT
Jesus on the cross quoted David’s writing in Matthew 27. David says ‘you guide me, Lord, I’ll be kept safe from all the hidden traps and the snares of the enemy, because you’re my rock and strength’.
There is a big difference between spirit and flesh, the natural and soul realm. We have senses, you can see, you can hear, you can speak. We have senses and we’ve got the mind, we’ve got the will to do or not to do. That’s the soul. But, David and Jesus did not commit the soul into God, he commits and entrusts his spirit.
Your spirit also has senses, and your spirit can see, hear and touch. Your spirit can see things before they happen in the natural. You can hear things before they happen in the flesh. You can either sense them. Therefore, you don’t entrust your soul. Well, you will definitely give God your mind, will and emotions.
The point is this, you don’t get breakthroughs in victory through the flesh. You don’t get breakthroughs through the natural realm. What God does is in the spirit. He wants to implement this so that you have victory on the inside first, then it can manifest in the natural.
